Thriving Fraserburgh trailer-maker Gray & Adams has nearly doubled its profits in the year ending April 26 2024.
Despite a "challenging period", the engineering firm saw its profits soar to £18.6million, The Press and Journal reports.
Announcing its latest accounts, the company revealed the pre-tax profits figure, up from £9.4million the previous year, was the highest in the 21st century.
Its refrigerated trailers are used by a host of supermarkets across the UK to transport vital food stocks to stores.
The flourishing finances come despite challenges to its supply chain caused by the conflict in Ukraine.
