Are you passionate about the sustainable development of Fraserburgh and its surrounding communities?
Would like to play a part in securing the town’s economic and social future for years to come?
We are currently recruiting for a number of new Commissioners to join our Board. As a Trust Port, Fraserburgh Harbour’s Commissioners – 12 in total – play a critical role in the Harbour’s ongoing success and development.
Our Commissioners are responsible for the administration and maintenance of the Port, and this opportunity comes at a time when the Harbour is poised to execute its most ambitious project yet, in the form of the Harbour Masterplan.
Who Are We Looking For?
We’re looking for those who are committed to making a difference; helping to steer the development of Fraserburgh Harbour as we expand in order to safeguard and grow the local fishing industry, increase our involvement in offshore wind activity and provide career opportunities for generations to come.
We are keen to hear from individuals who can devote up to one day per month to the role and contribute experience in any of the following areas:
- Fishing
- Engineering & Construction
- Energy Transition
- Law
- Environment
- Business Administration
- Accounting & Finance
Appointments are for an initial three years, commencing January 10, 2025.
Closing date for applications is 12pm on Friday, November 1, with interviews to follow thereafter.
