Fortytwo business growth drives team expansion

Aberdeen based brand agency FortyTwo Studio have strengthened their design team with the appointment of Alex Gemie. An experienced and talented creative, Alex joins as creative artworker to help expedite a growing client roster and a notable increase in the demand for the agencies design and brand services.

The role has been created by FortyTwo Studio as they continue to grow their offering to a national client base, including Stagecoach North Scotland, Nucore Group, Edel, Cairngorms Business Partnership (CBP), Skye Ecomuseum, Aberdeen Festivals, Rizza’s Ice Cream, Duncan and Todd Opticians and ROVOP. Alex brings a wealth of skill and experience to the team, having held previous agency and in-house design positions at Aberdeen Football Club, DC Thomson and the NHS.

The appointment caps an exciting six months for the company, with the agency also hiring Ross Thomson as digital developer earlier this year. Most recently, the agency celebrated being presented with an International Graphis Award for Typography. This was alongside further finalist nominations for Corporate Brand Identity at the highly coveted Scottish Design Awards and also for Employer of The Year at The Elevator Awards.
