Forbes place receives mention from Aberdeen civic society

Aberdeen’s first build to rent (BTR) scheme, Forbes Place by developer Dandara, has received a mention from Aberdeen Civic Society at its annual awards ceremony.

The Society, which is made up of architects and property industry professionals, commended Dandara for the use of exterior brickwork to compliment the environment, the impressive landscaping around the development and the discreet use of underground parking.

There were 20 prizes awarded, shortlisted from 40 nominations, at the presentation at Aberdeen Town House.

Dandara Living lettings manager Mandy Anderson said: “We are committed to ensuring each of our developments compliments the surrounding area so we appreciate the positive comments from Aberdeen Civic Society.

“Forbes Place is perfect for professionals who want a superb standard of accommodation, without having to worry about securing a mortgage or the landlord changing the lease terms.

“We have seen a huge uptake in our apartments and expect to be fully let by the New Year.”

Forbes Place features 276 apartments and 16 townhouses all furnished and available for rental only, offering residents high quality, purpose-built accommodation within the award-winning Stoneywood development.

The Stoneywood community is within 10 minutes of Aberdeen International Airport, and just a short walk from local transport links to the city centre. It also features a Co-operative supermarket, and a Marks and Spencer Food hall and cafe.
