Flagship clinic welcomes first service users

RS Occupational Health has welcomed the first service users to its flagship £1.25 million remote care medical centre in Aberdeen.

The purpose-built, state-of-the-art centre represents a step change in remote care for the oil and gas industry and is the first and only facility of its kind in the city, fully equipped with cutting edge remote diagnostic technology. From the 4,157 sq. m. building, the company provides round the clock, comprehensive topside and emergency medical support to the offshore sector.

The bespoke centre, located within close proximity to Aberdeen’s airport and heliports, complements RS Occupational Health’s existing headquarters in Aberdeen as well as strategically located clinics in Inverness and Great Yarmouth.

RS Occupational Health co-founder Fiona Willis commented: “Our new remote care medical centre has been created with the specific aim of providing the best possible care for offshore personnel. Its location ensures swift access to care for service users and services are underpinned by an innovative data management system to ensure integrated case management from the first topside call through the medevac process to eventual return to work.

“The creation of this new facility embodies the importance of staying at the forefront of current and future industry and client requirements and evolving our company in tandem with their needs. We are confident that our new centre will further enhance our capabilities to provide top class service to our growing number of clients and further underline our founding principles which focus on a progressive outlook.”
