The official charity partner for the inaugural Finance & Accountancy Business (FAB) Awards is local charity Archway.

Archway provides vital support and care for individuals with learning disabilities and their families across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. The charity’s dedication to creating a positive impact in the lives of those they serve and striving to be the best at what they do aligns closely with the spirit of these new awards.

The Finance & Accountancy Business (FAB) Awards will celebrate the trailblazers and top performers who are driving the north-east's financial sector forward. The event – being held at Aberdeen’s Union Kirk on Thursday, May 8 – is sponsored by TMM Recruitment.

Amanda McCulloch, chief executive at TMM Recruitment, said: “The FAB Awards are a celebration of excellence in finance, accountancy and tax, but they are also an opportunity to make a positive difference in our community. Together with Archway, we aim to raise awareness and funds to support this local charity’s vital work. On the night, attendees will also be able to connect with representatives from Archway to discover how their work transforms lives in our community.”

Iain McKenna, chair at Archway, said: “We are delighted to have been chosen by the FAB Awards as a beneficiary. It’s a great opportunity to raise the profile of Archway within the local business community and proceeds raised from the awards will sustain a range of inclusive initiatives and activities for our service users.”
