The finalists for the Northern Star Business Awards 2025 have been unveiled by Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce and Brodies LLP.
Over 70 organisations from the North-east have been shortlisted across 15 categories for what will be the biggest business celebration of the year.
The ceremony will take place at P&J Live on April 25, 2025 and will celebrate the exceptional accomplishments of organisations from across the region.
Tracey Menzies, Partner at Brodies LLP, said: “The Northern Star Business Awards brings the North-east business community together each year, highlighting the wonderful accomplishments of individuals and organisations of all sizes.
“Hearing about the finalists never fails to be inspirational. At Brodies we work with clients from across the region and being a part of events like the Northern Star Business Awards reinforces our belief that there are many reasons to be proud of our region, its brilliant people and its resilience as clearly demonstrated in all of this year's award entries. Congratulations to all of the finalists.”
Over 850 guests descended on P&J Live earlier this year to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the glittering awards which was hosted by BBC star Edith Bowman.
Aberdeen International Airport, ATPI, Balmoral, Business Gateway, bp, Cala, Craig International, Luxe Scot, Port of Aberdeen, Robert Gordon University, Royal Bank of Scotland, Shell, Sodexo, Swagelok, True North and University of Aberdeen are among the key sponsors of this year’s event.
Russell Borthwick, Chief Executive of Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce, said: “Northern Star provides a unique stage to showcase and celebrate the brilliant work being done by businesses of all sizes, from all sectors across our region.
“This year’s finalists are a great example of the pioneering work that is being accomplished across the North-east. We wish all of the finalists the best of luck at the ceremony next April."
A prestigious Regional Contribution award will also be announced on the evening. This award is hand-picked by the judges and recognises an individual who has shown significant and outstanding leadership and contribution to the North-east economy.
Luxe Scot will once again roll out the red carpet for a glitzy sponsors reception before the main event, and the host will be announced early next year.
