Marketing communications agency Fifth Ring has announced several new appointments across the globe following a busy period of international growth.
The Aberdeen-headquartered company, which was named Best Oil & Gas Agency by Corporate Vision Magazine earlier this year, has recently secured additional business in Texas, Tokyo and London worth an estimated £600,000.
Following the period of growth for the agency, which offers a range of services including brand development, creative design, digital web design and development, marketing and public relations, a number of key appointments have been made.
A total of four staff have joined Fifth Ring’s Europe office based in Aberdeen in recent months. Head of PR Andy Groundwater has moved to the company after nearly 14 years in newspaper journalism at the Evening Express in Aberdeen. Business manager Stevie Brown joins from VisitAberdeenshire, while Amy Davys has been recruited as a senior business executive alongside business executive Claire Smith.
The Fifth Ring Asia office, based in Singapore, has recently recruited Jolyn Lim as an account executive, with the number of staff there set to double in the next six months.
Fifth Ring’s Houston office has appointed two new colleagues to help continue to grow the business, including Chris Wolf as business development manager and Steph Colello as account executive. Chris has had a successful career in marketing and communications and has held marketing director positions with several B2B companies in Texas, while Steph has previously worked in SEO and as a production executive for wedding magazine Brides of Houston.
Ian Ord, Fifth Ring founder and CEO, said: “This is proving to be a very exciting year for Fifth Ring as we continue to build strong relationships with new and existing clients and see growth in each of our office locations.
“We are improving our services offering to reflect the evolving needs of our clients and to ensure we keep providing a seamless integrated communications service.
“From the day Fifth Ring was formed we have appreciated the value of people and developing talent and this is something we are still passionate about today.”
Earlier this year, Fifth Ring was voted Scotland’s number one agency by The Drum Agency Census, a ranking based solely on its UK revenue and performance.
