The brand-new Fierce Beer taproom, opened in April 2023, is one of the key outcomes of Fierce Beer’s 2021 Crowdfunder. Fierce’s community - known as our Fierce Family - helped them to build a brand-new retail space onsite at their brewery in Dyce, on the outskirts of Aberdeen.
Dotted with plants and lit naturally with large windows, the taproom is spacious and has a relaxed vibe with outdoors picnic bench seating, space for kitchen pop-up vendors, and ample parking. Fierce Beer’s expertise in alcohol free beers means drivers don’t miss out on delicious beer brewed on site.
The Fierce Beer new year-round range pours as standard, with a selection of limited edition beers making up the remainder of the draft list. Fierce core beers are as accessible as possible - all are gluten-free and vegan as standard, with alcohol free versions of their flagship Cerveza and popular Hazy IPA also available.
There are plans to develop the outdoor area further – as the brewery and taproom is located in a non-residential area there is opportunity to host outdoor events with live music and DJ sets. The venue’s capacity is 115 – large enough for beer launches and events, but with the flexibility to host smaller, more intimate events. The combination of the brewery venue and city centre public bar provides the flexibility to host trade partners, buyers and investors, demonstrating a fantastic range of products on site in peaceful quiet surroundings. A brewery-staffed shuttle bus runs on weekends, making it easier for customers to access the taproom from the nearby train station, demonstrating the personal touch Fierce Beer are known for within the beer industry.
Perhaps most importantly, brewery tours will be run from the taproom. Fierce Beer are extremely proud of the brewery and are delighted to be able to walk fans and customers around the full facility, sharing detailed information on the production of their award-winning beers. Unlike the tours of some larger beer production facilities in Scotland, visitors can get up close to every area of the brewery, from the brewhouse right through to packaging and warehousing, where the scale of business growth can be clearly seen.
