We Too! has welcomed Fay McLeod as its new community engagement ninja.
Bringing extensive fundraising experience to the team, she will focus on strengthening community connections and supporting the charity’s work with families with disabilities.
Fay, who was named Fundraiser of the Year at the Celebrate Aberdeen Awards last September, is well known for her passion and commitment to making a difference. She joins We Too! in a role that reflects the organisation’s unique approach - where volunteers and employees are known as ‘ninjas’, ensuring the charity remains approachable and accessible to all.
Wasting no time, Fay is already rallying brave fundraisers for an exciting challenge, abseiling down the Port of Leith Distillery building in Edinburgh on 10 May.
The event promises to be an unforgettable experience, combining adrenaline with a well-earned reward at the finish line. Participants will take in breath-taking views as they descend the distillery’s towering structure before toasting their achievement with a well-deserved glass of something special at the bottom.
Phionna McInnes, CEO – chief encouragement officer, said: “Fay’s experience and enthusiasm will be a great asset in expanding our community engagement and fundraising efforts. As a small charity, fundraising is absolutely vital to ensuring we can continue providing the services and support that so many families rely on. Every penny raised helps us to deliver inclusive activities, training, and resources for families with disabilities.”
