Ghouls (and boys) just wanna have fun at Aberdeen Science Centre, which is hosting a fang-tastic Halloween party on October 31. Tickets are on sale now for the spooky special event, which will take place after school from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
Party guests will have the chance to join in with a variety of Halloween-themed activities, including games, slime making and spooky scientific demonstrations, followed by free time to explore the centre’s exhibition floor.
Children are also encouraged to come to Aberdeen Science Centre in fancy dress to join in with the best costume competition!
Lynda McConnach, public and digital co-ordinator at Aberdeen Science Centre, said: “We are so excited to be transforming the centre into a fun Halloween party venue, with lots of eerie experiments and ghoulish games, with prizes for the best costumes – so if you’ve got it, haunt it!
“There will be fun for all ages as we learn more about the science behind some of the most iconic elements of Halloween with a science show from our fantastic STEM communicators. If you’d like to trick-or-treat yourself and join in the fun this Halloween, book your tickets now as spaces are filling up fast!”
Visitors to Aberdeen Science Centre will be divided into groups upon arrival at the party and will travel around the centre as they experience the different games and scientific experiments on offer.
Ticket packages for the Halloween event cost £18, which includes admission to Aberdeen Science Centre for one child and two parents or carers and access to all the special activities.
Tables will be available for those with a packed meal, and the on-site cafe, Grub Fresh Food, will be open until 5.30pm for coffee, cake and snacks. Bookings for the Halloween activities must be made in advance via the Aberdeen Science Centre website.
