Eztek Limited, the electronic instrumentation design and manufacturing company, are delighted to announce the promotions of three staff members.
James Brown was promoted to production manager in January, following the retirement of Graham Smith. In June, Michael Stephen and Craig Grant were promoted into new roles.
Michael is now rental and calibration manager and Craig is lead test technician. These positions reflect the pivotal role these employees have in ensuring Eztek offers quality products and services.
James joined the business in 2018 as senior electronics technician and has been instrumental in improving assembly processes which improve manufacturing efficiencies and product quality. He is a certified IPC trainer and regularly delivers professional training to all of Eztek’s technicians. His new role sees him managing the team of technicians and ensuring clients orders are met and kept on schedule.

Michael joined in 2015 and has worked most recently as lead calibration/rental technician. He has been involved in developing the rental and calibration offerings of Eztek, including system setups, personnel development, product improvement, client communications and both remote and on-site training. With the increase of Eztek’s rental offering, this role has become vital to the continued success of the business, ensuring clients receive the high level of service they rely on.
As rental and calibration manager, Michael will further develop the rental business and manage all aspects including management of personnel, ensuring all rental assets are maintained, upgraded, controlled and ready for client call off. The role is also client-focused, with Michael liaising directly with clients at a commercial level.
Craig joined the business in 2011, with Eztek supporting him to complete his electrical qualifications in 2012. He has been involved in product assembly and installation, customer and staff training, calibration processes and all aspects of testing. In recent years he has worked as a Compex Certified test technician. Craig is responsible for the testing of many products that leave the factory and his new role as lead test technician involves him in the mentoring of technicians on product testing and best testing practices.
Eztek has also recently added three new staff to its production team. These promotions and new hires are part of Eztek’s growth strategy.
