Thousands of students are expected to flock to Bon Accord & St Nicholas for its annual Lock In event.
The Aberdeen shopping centre is hosting the popular student only event on Tuesday (September 29) from 6.30pm to 9pm.
More than 30 stores from the two centres will offer a range of promotions on the night, with up to 50% off purchases as well as exclusive giveaways, freebies and a range of entertainment.
More than 5,200 people attended the Lock In last year, with even more expected to take advantage of the exclusive student shopping opportunity next week.
Craig Stevenson, manager of Bon Accord & St Nicholas, said: “Our Lock In has really grown in popularity in recent years and truly is an event not to be missed. There is always a fun atmosphere which brings together students from Aberdeen’s two universities and North East Scotland College.
“Retailers within Bon Accord & St Nicholas have got into the spirit of the occasion with some great discounts. This along with special giveaways, live music and a pop-up bar from The Garage nightclub will ensure a fantastic party atmosphere with lots to enjoy throughout the evening for all students who come along. We are looking forward to welcoming them to the centres and hope they take advantage of what will be on offer.
“Attracting even more visitors to the centre is hugely important to us and the Lock In is a great way to introduce new students to the retail scene in Aberdeen in a fun and enjoyable way.”
Bon Accord & St Nicholas are at the heart of Aberdeen city centre’s retail sector, offering 840,000 sq ft of prime space and home to around 100 stores.
