Children from Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire are in for a thrilling summer as International School Aberdeen (ISA) announces the 2025 lineup for its popular Schools Out Summer Camp.

Families are invited to register their children for a summer full of fun, friendship and exciting new experiences with enrolment for the summer camp opening this Wednesday (March 12th).

This year’s camp promises to be better than ever, featuring a jam-packed programme for children and young people aged 6-16 years. Campers can join for one, two, three, or all four weeks, with Schools Out running from July 14th to August 8th at ISA’s campus on North Deeside Road.

Known for its engaging mix of activities, Schools Out will feature sports and activities including swimming, climbing, tennis, football, gymnastics, as well as drama, dance, art, and cooking.

But this year, something truly special is revving up the excitement - the arrival of electric race cars! For the first time ever, children will have the chance to get behind the wheel and have some racing fun.

“Electric race cars will be a fun and engaging way to spark some healthy competition with the thrill and fun of a race”, said Mark DeGraw, ISA’s PE teacher.

Alongside the race cars, the camp also includes opportunities for campers to connect with nature, such as building campfires and toasting marshmallows, as well as enjoying all-inclusive meals provided throughout the duration of the camp.

“The camp is designed to keep children active and stimulated and is a place where they can relax and have fun, as well as providing a great opportunity for personal growth, skill development and lasting friendships,” explained Mark.

Schools Out continues to be one of the area’s most popular summer camps and is designed to ensure that every camper feels engaged and included no matter their strengths or interests.

“There’s truly something for children of all ages, and the best part is everything happens on our campus. With facilities like a swimming pool, climbing wall, astro-turf pitches, tennis courts, and a theatre, ISA ensures a safe and convenient experience for both children and parents,” added Mark.
