Efficient environmental services on display at open day

A leading provider in environmental services to the global oil and gas industry will be showcasing the latest technology and techniques that help protect the environment in an efficient and cost-effective way.

Around 100 oil and gas professionals will be descending on Inverurie on Friday, November 13 for an open day organised by MSIS to find out how new innovations in specialist cleaning, decontamination and waste management need not cost the earth.

Ian McPherson, Managing Director of MSIS said: “As companies look for ways to cut costs, they know that they cannot afford to cut corners when it comes to cleaning up behind them and protecting the environment. They therefore need to ensure they have the most effective and efficient techniques and products.

“Minimising environmental impact is at the forefront of everything we do. We are constantly looking for ways to deliver the optimum solution and deliver value. We have developed a range of specialist services, from waste management to environmental liability studies. Our expert team will be on hand at the open day to demonstrate how MSIS can deliver a highly efficient, cost-effective service.”

MSIS will display its range of specialist cleaning and waste management products and environmental management solutions including Dry Ice blasting, CCTV inspection, NORM Decontamination Units and Premier Transfer Systems (PTS).

Earlier this year, MSIS invested in a new industrial Wash Bay, which will be unveiled at the open day. Using water jetting techniques, the wash bay provides a safe and controlled environment to remove all types of substances and coatings common to the oil and gas industry.

Since its launch in 1998, MSIS has grown to become an independent and trusted adviser to the global oil and gas industry, offering an increasing range of specialist skills, equipment and services. MSIS has a proven track record, combined with market leading levels of best practice in confined space entry and cleaning of toxic and non-hazardous waste.
