BBC television and radio star Edith Bowman will return to Aberdeen to host the prestigious Northern Star Business Awards, organised by Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Brodies LLP.
The ceremony will take place at P&J Live on April 25, 2025, and will celebrate the exceptional accomplishments of organisations across the region.
As the North-east’s largest business celebration, over 70 organisations have been shortlisted across 15 categories at this year’s ceremony.
Born and raised in Anstruther, Fife, Edith’s broadcasting career has flourished over more than two decades and she is now one of the most well-respected and sought after personalities in the film, television and audio industry.
Her radio work has spanned all the major stations, presenting shows on BBC Radio 1, 2, 6 and 5Live as well as Virgin Radio. As a TV host and producer, she has fronted a versatile mix of shows for BBC, Channel 4, Sky Arts, MTV and more.
As an acclaimed presenter, Edith has incorporated her genuine passion knowledge of music and film into her work.
This year will mark her third stint as host for the glittering awards ceremony which will see over 800 guests party and celebrate in style.
Last year, Edith helped celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Northern Star Business Awards where WM Donald picked up the top prize of Business of the Year.
