The Dyce office complex which is home to energy giant BP has been sold to in a deal worth around £15million.
Manchester-based investor DS Properties has acquired the 210,000sq ft office, according to industry insiders this morning.
The property was originally on the market for over £60million just 10 years ago, in 2014, but was remarketed at around £20million late last year.
The sale comes just a few months after BP reversed its plans to exit the building and stay put instead.
The energy firm had planned to move out of the huge Wellheads Avenue premises to a more modest 100,000sq ft space at Aberdeen International Business Park (AIBP).
However, in October last year, the firm confirmed it would be staying where it is as it worked to become "an integrated energy company".
It is understood that BP has a new five-year term in the building, which is its North Sea headquarters.
BP moved into the building on a 15-year lease in 2008, housing around 1,200 employees and contractors at the time.
The building has been sold by the British Coal Staff Superannuation Scheme. It is understood that Savills advised on the sale.
