Leading casing accessory and completion tool company Downhole Products has announced that it has significantly strengthened its team with four internal promotions.
After eight years with the business, most recently as regional manager for MENA/Caspian region, Martin Pirie has taken on the newly-created role of global sales director. Keith Millar, who has worked with the company for 13 years, has been named as Downhole Products’ new finance director following the recent retirement of Peter Byth, and Andy Kirk becomes the firm’s new engineering director after 13 years of service.
Across the Atlantic, Derek Nixon has moved from Varel International into the role of NSAM regional manager for Downhole Products where his local knowledge is already reaping rewards in the North and South American markets.
Commenting on the announcements, Downhole Products’ vice president Mark Dundee said: “These key additions to the team will offer great support to both myself and the company as we move forward, adding significant value to all areas of our business.”
Established in 1994, Downhole Products is a world market leading in the design, manufacture and supply of casing accessories and completion tools such as centralisers, reamer guide shoes and cable clamp protectors. The company’s headquarters are at Portlethen near Aberdeen and it operates bases in Australia, the Middle East, Asia and USA.
