DF Communications staff raise more than £1000 for charity

Staff at DF Communications, a leading mobile phone and communications business, have raised more than £1000 for The Archie Foundation.

Ashleigh Addie, office manager, Kirsty Webster, customer care representative, Vikki Hellings, CRM administrator and Brian Massie, delivery driver took part in the Archie Abseil, a 60ft descent of the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, organised by the local charity.

Team DF raised £1,023.53, more than doubling its original target of £400 and the company is still accepting donations, with all proceeds going to support The Archie Foundation. Please visit archieabseil.everydayhero.com/uk/team-df-communications.

Ashleigh Addie, office manager at DF Communications, said: “We are thrilled to have surpassed our original fundraising target and we’d like to thank all of those who have helped us by donating to this amazing charity.”

Brian Massie, DF’s delivery driver, said “We have had a great day abseiling down the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, all of the team did fantastically well and I’m proud to have did my bit for a the Archie Foundation which supports sick children across Scotland.”

DF Communications delivers mobile phone solutions, landline services, hands-free car solutions and vehicle tracking to local, national and international businesses.

In addition, through its in-house agency, DF Creative, the business offers a range of design, digital and multimedia services including branding and graphic design, fully responsive web design, brochures, photography, video and editing.

The company, established in 1986, also provides Wi-Fi solutions, handheld tablets such as iPads, mobile tracking systems and hands-free car kits. Overall the business has a staff of 16 people.
