A leading provider of innovative asset cleaning and decontamination solutions has announced the completion of a significant contract which further underlines its flexibility and diversity of services.
Aberdeenshire-based Denholm MacNamee has recently completed a project at the Royal Mint in Pontyclun, South Wales where for the first time ever Ultra High Pressure (UHP) water jetting was used to clean a retort to remove zinc oxide deposits. Over an eight-day period, three members of staff completed the work which represents a first for Denholm MacNamee, taking the company into another new sector.
The work was completed in conjunction with Inspectahire, a leading inspection company based in Aberdeen which specialises in providing remote visual inspection technology and Non Destructive Testing (NDT) solutions worldwide.
Commenting on the project Denholm MacNamee managing director Brian Ritchie said: “This is not the first time we have worked with Inspectahire and it was an excellent opportunity to consolidate our good working relationship by collaborating to engineer bespoke solutions.
“It was, however, the first time we have been called on to complete a project of this kind and we are pleased to have further demonstrated the versatility of what can be achieved with our non-sector specific applications.”
