Taking place in February at P&J Live in Aberdeen, Subsea Expo is the world’s largest exhibition and conference dedicated to the underwater sector. Free to attend, the three-day event is expected to attract up to 6,500 industry professionals and feature around 150 exhibiting companies.
Held from Tuesday, 21 until Thursday, 23 February, the event provides a platform for companies operating across the underwater industry, which includes offshore renewables, oil and gas, defence, aquaculture, telecoms and subsea mining, to showcase the latest technologies and innovations.
The event theme will be "Into the Blue" which will highlight the potential of the Blue Economy across the established and emerging underwater sectors and how they must work together to maximise on the blue economic opportunities.
Running alongside the exhibition will be a busy conference programme. Multiple parallel sessions will take place over the duration of the three days, featuring debate on a number of current industry topics. One area where significant debate is expected is around energy security and the protection of critical national underwater infrastructure, such as pipelines and data cables.
Other conference sessions will focus on robotics and autonomous operations; data and digitalisation; doing business underwater; energy transition; marine energy; and subsea production systems and pipelines.
