CyberPrism, a leading OT cyber security company, has bolstered its Aberdeen-based team with the appointment of David Fisher-Holt as principal engineer.
David brings more than three decades of experience in the energy sector, with specialist expertise in ICS/OT lifecycle management, during a career spanning cyber security, obsolescence management and functional safety.
Having graduated from The Robert Gordon University with a BEng in Electronics and Computing and an MSc in Computer Science with Cyber Security from Wrexham Glyndwr University, he already had robust academic credentials. Despite that, he is continuing to further his education with an Engineering Doctorate at RGU, focused on Virtual Industrial Control Systems (VICS) using AI.
In his role at CyberPrism, David leads significant OT cyber security programmes, with his work including publishing comprehensive Cyber Security Management Systems and performing risk assessments for numerous energy installations.
His responsibilities also cover NIS compliance and IT/OT convergence initiatives, and he will lead on product and service development for CyberPrism.
