A luxury family home created by premium developer Dandara, which has become one of the most popular new-build in north-east Scotland, has won the best architecture (single residence) in the UK title at the International Property Awards.
The Spruce, one of the most desirable residences at Dandara’s exclusive Hazelwood development in Aberdeen’s West End, was chosen by a panel of more than 70 highly respected independent experts from around the globe at the ‘world’s best’ stage of the competition in London.
Dandara competed against more than 2000 of the best property professionals in the world to win the title with the developer’s picturesque Stoneywood development in Aberdeen nominated in two further categories; best architecture (multi residence) in the UK for the Waterton Mews development and the UK’s best development marketing.
Gavin Wyley, managing director of Dandara in Aberdeen said: “Being nominated among the best in the world was itself fantastic recognition - to be named best in the UK as part of the international stage of the competition is a real honour.
“From the initial design concept to handing over the keys and beyond, we are committed to providing the highest possible standard of living to our customers.
“This award is a testament to the dedication of everyone involved from our design and construction teams, to our sales, customer care and support specialists, who are all equally passionate about providing our customers with luxurious homes which are the best of their kind in the world.”
Dandara’s success at the world’s best stage of the competition follows the developer’s triumph at the UK stage of the competition earlier this year when the premium developer picked up fourteen awards for its developments in the North–east of Scotland, including the City South business park in Aberdeen, and The Isle of Man and Bedfordshire.
Judging at The International Property Awards focuses on design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and commitment to sustainability. The judging panel is chaired by two active members of the House of Lords; Lord Caithness and Lord Best.
