Cresent and Oil Spill Response Ltd partner to enhance industry competence

Cresent, Control of Work and Health and Safety specialists, and Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL), the industry’s leading global oil spill response cooperative, are delighted to announce a new training partnership.

This exciting collaboration will lead to an increased range of e-learning for customers, with Cresent strengthening their offering of oil spill response themed courses. This innovative approach offers key benefits; providing low cost, high quality courses to both Cresent and OSRL customers.

Deborah Yeats, training director at Cresent, said “We’re looking forward to working closely with OSRL to reinforce a message of safety across the industries where it is most needed. We have been able to expand on our existing range of courses and tap into the extensive knowledge base of OSRL. This partnership allows us the opportunity for future collaboration initiatives and joint development of new e-learning courses for our customers.”

This message is echoed by Jo Unwin, Training & Consultancy Manager at OSRL, “We are proud to partner with Cresent. We believe this collaboration continues to show our commitment to enhance the competence of our customers beyond the conventional realms of oil spill response. This will promote a healthier and safer working environment within the industry, working toward preventing oil spill incidents.”

Safety is a core value embedded in both organisations, striving toward increasing understanding and competence through training solutions. This new partnership between Cresent and Oil Spill Response Limited is the beginning of aligning industry training standards and health and safety principles.
