Aberdeen City Council’s Countryside Ranger Service base will be moving to a new location next Friday (4 Sept).
The service is moving from Lochinch Farm to the Groats Road Pavilion building in Hazlehead Park in the short to medium term, and will continue to offer most of the same services.
The new location will give the team easy access to the Hazlehead Woods and Den of Maidencraig Local Nature Reserve. There will not be the classroom facility available in the short term but alternative provisions for this are under discussion.
There will be a period where the team will be packing up moving and settling into their new accommodation. During this time, they may not be able to take on as many school groups and guided walks etc. More information and contact details are available on the Countryside Ranger Service website www.aberdeencity.gov.uk/rangerservice and Facebook page.
