Aberdeen City Council has set out a new code of conduct for buskers wishing to perform in the city centre.

Union Terrace Gardens could become one of the new hotspots for musicians alongside Belmont Street, Schoolhill and St Nicholas Square.

The new rules has been formed to encourage buskers to liven up the city centre, and will be asked to rotate places every two hours.

Musicians will now be allowed to play until 9pm on a Friday and Saturday, but the volume at which buskers play will also be outlined by the new rules.
