Scottish social care charity Cornerstone is celebrating its 45th birthday this year.
Cornerstone, originally just based in the North-east, was established in 1980 by founder and pioneer, Nick Baxter.
Since then, the charity has grown, establishing a number of branches and services across Scotland to provide expert, person-centred care, and support to people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex care needs, helping them to live the best life possible!
Anniversary celebrations kicked off at the start of February with a party for the people the charity supports and colleagues in its Glasgow hub!
Organising and celebrating a birthday is great fun but can be expensive. Some of the people Cornerstone supports across Scotland may miss out on these celebrations that many of us may take for granted.
