Aberdeen Conservative and Unionist Association have selected Brian Davidson as their candidate to contest the upcoming George Street/Harbour by-election to be held on Thursday, October 1.
Brian has a wealth of political experience and currently works for Euroblock Products Limited as an administator. Brian works and lives in Aberdeen and will bring essential experience to the Council.
The Conservative group on Aberdeen City Council have been widely acknowledged for punching above their weight in the ruling administration having been able to deliver key projects for the city such as the Third Don Crossing, the roll out of superfast broadband and crucially bringing stability and balance to the city’s finances.
Speaking on his selection Brian said:
“I am delighted to have been re-adopted as the Scottish Conservative candidate for George Street and the Harbour in the upcoming Council by-election. “
“Working in the ward and as an experienced local campaigner I am very well aware of the local issues that affect residents in the area. If elected I am will always put local people first and the issues which affect their quality of life.”
“I support the continued great work of the Conservatives on the Council by investing in infrastructure, balancing the books, fighting for Aberdeen’s Fair Share and driving forward our ambitious proposals for a City Deal.”

Brian brings familiarity as well as a host of private sector experience having worked as a financial controller for a Glasgow based valve manufacturing company, and as a senior financial accountant for a major oil services company in Aberdeen. “
