Branded clothing and promotional products suppliers, Concept Promotional Merchandise, has announced two senior management appointments to drive new opportunities and support business growth.

Experienced sales executive Angela Bruce joins Concept as business manager with four decades of experience in business development and corporate account management, spending 17 years with the commercial team at Aberdeen Football Club and, most recently, as commercial manager at Cove Rangers Football Club.

Former radio presenter and match day host at Aberdeen Football Club Claire Stevenson joins as operations manager, bringing a wealth of experience in events and customer facing roles to ensure Concept’s clients receive the best possible service.

As former host on Claire & Craig’s Big Breakfast on Original 106 and a board member at Clan Cancer Support, Claire is well placed to tap into an extensive network of local industry contacts.

As an Aberdeen-based supplier of branded clothing and promotional products, serving a Scotland-wide customer base, Concept sources, supplies and brands merchandise, corporate giveaways, and clothing for companies such as energy, hospitality, transport, and professional services industries.

Commenting on the creation of the new leadership roles, concept managing director Bob Christie said: “Angela and Claire are both excellent additions to the company. Between them, they bring an extensive portfolio of sales and events experience as well as an in-depth knowledge of the North-east business community.

“Angela’s connections she has built over the years with AFC and Cove Rangers, combined with Claire’s experience in the media and events industry, will complement our existing customer base as well as opening new doors for an expanding client base.”

Commenting on her appointment, Angela, who will be responsible for the creation of new business opportunities, said: “I’m really excited for this opportunity to make a difference and shape the future of a small local business where the values of customer satisfaction and service excellence align with my own professional approach.

“I’m looking forward to developing relationships with new customers across the region as well as maintaining those I’ve built within the business community over the past 40 years.”

Claire commented: “I was ready for a new challenge and joining a company like Concept that prides itself not only on customer service excellence and strong relationships, but also on creativity and innovation, is an exciting next step for me.”

Concept has traded in the Granite City for the last 26 years with Bob recently giving his backing to Our Union Street volunteer campaign, providing specially branded clothing for those willing to step up to help shape the future of our city.
