A North-east banker is using more than three decades of experience in the industry to bring a fresh new approach to finance.
Since officially launching Drummond Finance on July 4, managing director Alex Drummond has been busy helping a range of local SMEs to secure finance by representing them and their interests to prospective lenders. Using extensive knowledge gained during 36 years with major banks, Alex is assisting clients with the sourcing and securing of all types of commercial finance, including growth finance, working capital, property investment and development.
In spite of being a newcomer to the marketplace, Drummond Finance already has access to a portfolio of more than 150 commercial lenders. The result for the client is greater choice and flexibility in how funding can be sourced and secured.
Commenting on his decision to set up his own business, Alex Drummond said: “Drummond Finance is effectively filling the relationship gap which has been created by recent changes in banking. As well as providing a personal interface between lender and client, my business helps to mitigate elements which may not appeal to lenders and achieve positive outcomes by working as a broker on their behalf. Often, this is something which can be harder for companies to achieve themselves. Importantly, we do not differentiate our service offering by turnover, income, sector or the size of the lend.
