COMET is excited to announce the promotion of Jordan Sleigh to project development lead, highlighting the company’s focus on supporting talent and giving team members the opportunity to grow into leadership roles.
Jordan moves into this role from his position as software developer, where he showed strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
As project development lead, he’ll be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, making sure they deliver real value to both COMET’s users and the business.
Talking about his new role, Jordan said: “First of all, this was one of my goals in my career to take a step up in my role so of course I'm very excited about that.
"This will now allow me to set new goals within this role and any future roles, overseeing projects from concept to implementation, ensuring we deliver value to users and the business, being able to grow my leadership skills and guiding the team towards success.”
Since joining COMET, Jordan has steadily taken on more responsibility. He’s led key projects and worked closely with different teams, gaining the experience needed to step into this leadership position.
Jordan added: “When I first joined the company, I mostly worked alongside experienced senior team members who have since moved on. This meant I had to step up and take on more responsibility, and lead in key projects.
"I believe that learning from all my colleagues - regardless of their level or experience - has been extremely valuable in preparing me for this new role."
