The Asthma and Allergy Foundation (AAF) has announced Canadian Natural Resources (CNR) International as the title sponsor for its 15th anniversary autumn ball.
With over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and a strong commitment to working with local communities, CNR International has been a steadfast supporter of AAF.
CNR's longstanding supportive relationship with the Asthma and Allergy Foundation has played a crucial role in advancing the charity’s life-saving work across Scotland. Barry Duncan, managing director and vice president finance at CNR International, has been a key advocate for AAF’s cause. As one of the charity’s first Ambassadors, Barry has facilitated significant support towards the work of the organisation, including sponsorship towards the delivery of essential asthma and allergy workshops to improve health and education outcomes for school children with asthma in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
Commenting on the partnership, Barry Duncan stated: "At CNR International, we believe in making a positive impact on the communities we serve. Supporting the Asthma and Allergy Foundation aligns with our commitment to health and education. We are proud to be the Title Sponsor for the charity’s 15th Anniversary Autumn Ball and look forward to continuing our support for this important cause."
CNR International has recently hosted an engaging and enjoyable Lunch and Learn event at St Magnus House to raise awareness about AAF’s work and provide vital information to employees, including those with asthma. Notably, CNR International is the first oil and gas company in the UK to enroll its First Aiders in AAF’s Asthma Awareness E-Learning training, setting a commendable example for the industry.
Martina Chukwuma-Ezike, chief executive of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation, expressed her gratitude: "We are incredibly thankful for CNR’s unwavering support. Their dedication to improving the lives of individuals with asthma and allergies is truly inspiring. The sponsorship of our 15th anniversary autumn ball is a testament to their commitment to our cause and the community."
The 15th anniversary autumn ball marks a significant milestone for AAF, providing an opportunity to reflect on the efforts of its dedicated team and the remarkable individuals who have offered invaluable support. The foundation is thrilled to have CNR International as the title sponsor for this momentous occasion.
