This week’s Russell Anderson Foundation (RAF) Easter Camps at Aberdeen Sports Village, attended by almost two hundred Primary 4-7 youngsters every day, are being again supported by long-time partner CNR International who, in addition to providing financial backing, are providing staff throughout the week as volunteers.
CNR managing director and VP Finance Barry Duncan recognises the unstinting work undertaken by the Foundation.
He said: “One of CNR International’s core values is to be an outstanding corporate citizen, which we do in many ways. One way is by putting something back into the communities in which we operate.
Dons midfielder Leighton Clarkson and Barry Duncan from CNR meet some of the youngsters and coaches at this week’s RAF Easter Camp at ASV.
“I’m proud of the contribution we make to our community, both as a company and through employee volunteering, by supporting many local charities, including the Russell Anderson Foundation, which does so much to support and empower children in our community.
“My best wishes to everybody from the Foundation and all those participating in the Easter Camp, fingers crossed for some good weather and lots of fun.”
RAF business development and fundraising manager Louise Douglas added. “We rely heavily on the support of organisations like CNR, who have been fantastic partners to RAF for some time now and it is really appreciated.
"In addition to a variety of sports and activities for the youngsters to enjoy, we are also running three days of crafts as well, so there will be most definitely something for everyone.”
