Law firm CMS has promoted Graeme Clubley to the role of partner within its Aberdeen-based Energy team.
Mr Clubley, an oil and gas specialist lawyer and graduate of University of Glasgow, joined CMS’s Aberdeen operation as a Senior Associate in 2012.
His promotion takes immediate effect and coincides with the appointment of Aberdeen partner Stephen Millar as CMS’s new UK managing partner.
A University of Dundee graduate, who has been with the firm since 2003, Stephen joined the CMS board in 2013 as practice group manager for energy, projects and construction. Following CMS’s combination with Dundas & Wilson in 2014, Millar also became co-executive partner for Scotland.
