A leading north-east cancer support charity is to open a pop-up shop in the centre of Lossiemouth for a limited time later this month.
CLAN Cancer Support will open the pop-up shop in Lossiemouth’s Queen Street on Friday, July 24 until Friday, August 4.
The shop will be stocked with a wide range of goods which have been donated to the charity, which provides wellbeing and support services for anyone affected by cancer locally through its bases in Elgin, Buckie and Lossiemouth.
Tracy Sellar, CLAN’s Cancer Services area manager said: “We are very lucky to be the recipients of so many high quality donations which are kindly given to us by supporters, businesses and families alike.
“The donations – from good quality clothes, DVDs and CDs to books and small household goods – are collected by CLAN staff and volunteers throughout the year and used to stock our pop-up shop during the summer in the heart of Lossiemouth.
“We have opened the shop now for four years and it always proves to be so popular, with people eager to grab a bargain or something a bit different.
“Everyone who shops with us during the two weeks will be helping to support the services CLAN provides for people affected by cancer throughout north-east Scotland, Moray, Orkney and Shetland, free of charge.”
