A leading wellness management company is gearing up to host a special event aimed at addressing the root causes of illness.
The talk will expand on the science of finding the root causes of many systemic conditions that relate to a number of organs and tissues, or the body as a whole.
Aberdeen Chiropractic Clinic will hold the event at the city’s Macdonald Norwood Hall Hotel on Thursday, December 3 from 7pm. It will raise funds for Birth Forward, a charity established by Aberdeen Chiropractic Clinic owner Dr Eline Pedersen to reduce the number of unnecessary Caesarean births in her former home country of Cyprus.
Dr Eline Pedersen explained: “Caesarean rates in Cyprus are 60% - the highest in the world. I want to address that statistic by empowering parents to make informed decisions on birth through sharing information as widely as possible. Whilst our initial focus is on Cyprus, our work may also be relevant in other locations across the world and we look forward to sharing our message with as many people as possible.”
Commenting on the forthcoming event, Dr Costas Hadjikonstantinou, chiropractor and speaker at the upcoming event, explained: “Many people have a functional health problem, usually gut related, or that they learn to live with or mask with medication. Most will realise that over time their health deteriorates with more unexplained symptoms in different areas of the body that lead to pathology and disease.
“This talk will be an eye-opener on how to protect ourselves and our children from getting sick physically, chemically or emotionally.”
