Two well-known north-east charities have teamed up to hold a fundraising golf day later this month.
Aberdeen Cyrenians and Inspire PTL are working together to host the event at Inverurie Golf Club on Friday 24 June.
Scott Baxter, depute chief executive of Aberdeen Cyrenians, said: “We’re very excited to be working with Inspire on this event.
“Scotland is the home of golf and we’re lucky to have some of the most scenic courses in the country right here on our doorstep.
“It should be a great day and we’ve already had a lot of interest from local businesses and community groups.”
The entry fee for the day is £300 which includes a four ball tee time, bacon rolls before starting, and a carvery meal after. There are also sponsorship opportunities available from as little as £100.
Duncan Peter, Business Development Manager at Inspire PTL, said: “We have a limited number of team spaces left on the day and we would really encourage teams to sign up.
“Not only do you get to enjoy a day on the course networking with other local businesses, you are also supporting two deserving local charities.”
All the money raised on the day will support the work of Aberdeen Cyrenians and Inspire PTL across Aberdeen city and Aberdeenshire.
Aberdeen Cyrenians work with people who are facing homelessness and hardship, including men and women experiencing domestic abuse. They run two residential and four community based projects providing advice, information, advocacy and support as well as practical help such as food parcels and clothing.
Inspire PTL work with people of all ages who have learning disabilities and additional support needs. They run more than 50 services across the north-east including residential services, day services, and employment for training initiatives.
