Karen Smith, BWC Aberdeen business owner, said: “We are a relatively new networking organisation in the Aberdeen business community, who has quickly established itself as a trusted and supportive group of diverse women.

"We have so many wonderfully talented female entrepreneurs and leaders, and I feel very privileged to provide a platform for us to come together at every stage of a career across varying businesses.

"The Athena Awards are a great demonstration of this, and we welcome members as well as non-members of BWC Aberdeen to enter and join us on the day.

"If last year is anything to go by, it’s going to be a very special afternoon. We have so much planned for the future. It’s a very exciting time for our organisation.”

As well as nominations, some sponsorship opportunities are still available in some of the categories.

BWC Aberdeen are delighted to welcome back, amongst some of its sponsors, Blackadders, Johnstons of Elgin, Buchan Wealth Management and QA Vehicle Solutions.
