Aberdeen Whisky Shop has been a proud part of the local community since 2010, sharing its passion and expertise in whisky with the people of Aberdeen.
The shop’s owner, Nick, is thrilled to announce an exclusive release distilled in 1988 and bottled in partnership with Finn Thomson, an independent bottler, to honor Aberdeen’s distinguished industrial history. This special release pays tribute to the city’s iconic granite industry, which has been shaping Aberdeen since the 1700s. Known as "The Granite City," Aberdeen’s reputation for strength, resilience, and enduring beauty is mirrored in this single-cask whisky, which embodies the same qualities of elegance and fortitude.
Celebrate Aberdeen’s history at the launch of this limited-edition single malt on March 12 at 6:30 pm at The Seven Incorporated Trades of Aberdeen, located in Trinity Hall.
The evening will include:
- A welcome drink
- Presentation from Aberdeen Whisky Shop and Finn Thomson
- Tasting of the newly released whisky
- The opportunity to purchase a bottle
In addition, there will be a silent auction for bottle number 1 of 100, with proceeds benefiting Mental Health Aberdeen, a charity that provides free counseling and support for individuals of all ages facing mental health challenges.
