Caunce O’Hara on winning ways with Power Jacks contract

Independent chartered insurance broker, Caunce O’Hara, has been appointed to handle the insurance requirements of Aberdeenshire-based Power Jacks.

In the last three years, Caunce O’Hara has aggressively expanded its presence and footprint in Aberdeen, which has now developed into a recognised brand across the city. Power Jacks joins Caunce O’Hara’s prestigious roster of clients in Scotland, which includes large corporates, SMEs and high net worth individuals. Power Jacks will be principally utilising the expertise of Caunce O’Hara’s Aberdeen team headed by Account Director, Steve Lewis, with support from its Manchester head office.

Stephen Darcy, managing director of Caunce O’Hara, said: “Power Jacks is well respected in the manufacturing industry, both in the UK and around the globe. We’re delighted they’ve chosen to work with us. This is one of many recent wins for Caunce O’Hara in the Aberdeenshire manufacturing industry and we’re very keen to maintain momentum in this sector and continue to expand our presence.”

Power Jacks is a specialist industrial engineering company which designs and manufactures quality electro-mechanical lifting, positioning and load monitoring equipment. Its diverse range of products can be used in many industries, including energy, transport, civil and defence.

Craig McGill of Power Jacks added: “Caunce O’Hara’s long-standing expertise in manufacturing insurance strengthens our business team and brings a fresh outlook to the company. We are very impressed with its approach and ability to deliver solutions that fit our needs and long-term goals.”

The Power Jacks win marks a year of change for the company; it is set to complete a rebrand and has already established trading in Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
