Office equipment specialists, Capital Document Solutions, will be offering strategic cost reduction advice to the oil and gas sector at a leading industry conference.
According to findings published in 2013 by the Gartner Group, printing consumes around 3% of a company’s annual revenue. This means that a £10million company could spend £300,000 on printing alone.
Capital’s expertise in the energy market means it has a track record of delivering cost reductions to clients.
Share Fair is organised by Oil & Gas UK, the leading representative body for the UK offshore oil and gas industry. The event will be held at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) on Wednesday, November 4.
Last year’s event was attended by more than 1,500 visitors from the oil and gas sector and the wider business community.
Experts from Capital Document Solutions will be at stand 15 offering expert advice on the latest office technology designed to save money, time and resources for businesses – a particular area of interest during the current oil industry downturn.
From Virginia Street in Aberdeen, as well as operations in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Inverness and Shetland, the company service and support devices for onshore and offshore installations including North Sea assets and vessels.
Capital employs more than 220 people and recently secured contracts with operators and international contractors after demonstrating they could implement more cost-effective solutions for clients.
Kevin Edrich, sales manager at Capital’s Aberdeen office, said: “While this is a difficult time for the oil and gas sector, there are ways to make effective cost reductions and our technology can deliver that.
“Our offshore team has many years of experience in the installation and servicing of equipment onboard vessels and platforms and we are looking forward to Share Fair, which is a fantastic opportunity for us to highlight our expertise and give an insight into the latest solutions for the industry.”
