Do you have a business issue you want to solve, or a project to deliver which needs specialist expertise, or do you just lack time to do it within current resources? Could you benefit from accessing the new talent and fresh thinking that an RGU student can bring to help your business grow?
RGU 3rd Year Management students are currently looking for projects to help them connect with businesses and put their learning into action. The projects can be undertaken in your business or on campus at RGU if you don’t have desk space. Projects can focus on marketing, HR, business management, where relevant with an international focus.
There are 2 start dates for projects: Early October 2015 (completed by end January) and February 2016 (completed by end April).
Students can work on a project 1 – 2 days per week for a period of 10 – 12 weeks. For large projects it may be possible for the project to be completed over 20 – 24 weeks.
Projects can include any aspect of HR management, for example creating an employee handbook, reviewing or creating policies and procedures, identifying learning and development needs, conducting an employee survey or researching the feasibility of a new initiative.
Marketing projects can focus on marketing strategy development, PR and communications campaign, production of enewsletters and eshots, market research, market analysis, market testing or social media strategy and implementation.
Management students can tackle consultancy-type work in areas such as logistics, procurement, contracts, planning or business development.
International Business Management students can undertake projects in any of the above areas, but with an international focus. For organisations already working internationally or those that would benefit from research into the feasibility of international expansion, this may be particularly useful.
