Growing strong, credible and sustainable brands across Scotland’s food and drink supply chains is a key aspiration within the Scottish Food & Drink industry strategy. This will enhance Scotland’s global reputation as a land of food and drink and will help to build strong companies in key food and drink categories. It will help raise awareness of Scottish products, creating assets that help customers from retail to foodservice realise their growth ambitions and will set Scottish food and drink apart from its competitors.

Scottish Enterprise has commissioned research on behalf of the Scotland Food & Drink Partnership (including HIE, Scottish Government and Scotland Food & Drink) to inform a wider approach to helping Scottish food and drink companies grow their brand presence in UK markets. The research is being undertaken by SRUC.

If you are a Scottish food and drink company, please take the opportunity to tell us about your experience of developing your brand(s) and what support you think is required going forward. Your views are important and will help shape potential future approaches to supporting the sector in this area, so please complete the online questionnaire.
