Luxury housebuilder, CALA Homes (North) is preparing to hand out hundreds of free Easter eggs to children in Aberdeen as part of its annual Easter Egg Hunt in Cults.
CALA Homes has teamed up with ten local businesses in Cults for the second year running to host the event which runs throughout Easter and the school holidays.
Special numbered eggs will be hidden in 10 store windows along North Deeside Road between Friday, March 25 and April 15.
Children who collect an Easter Egg Hunt form from CALA’s Rosefield Gardens Sales Suite located on Friarsfield Road and correctly spot all 10 of the eggs, will be rewarded with a free Easter treat courtesy of CALA Homes.
All completed forms must be handed back to the Rosefield Gardens Sales Suite by Friday, April 15 to claim a free chocolate egg.
For each correctly completed form handed back, CALA Homes will make a £5 donation which will be split between Cults Primary School and Northsound’s Cash for Kids appeal. Cults Primary School has pledged to use the funds to purchase new playground equipment following last year’s donation which contributed to a new audio sound system.
Fraser Carr, sales and marketing director at CALA Homes (North), said: “Last year’s Easter Egg Hunt was a great success. We were absolutely delighted by the support of the local community in Cults – from the fantastic businesses displaying our Easter egg posters to all the local kids that came along to take part.
“The Easter Egg Hunt is a great way of celebrating all that Cults has to offer – it really is a fantastic neighbourhood, from the new homes being created to the wide range of local shops and amenities.
“We are looking forward to welcoming lots of local families again this year and raising funds for two very worthy causes.”
Local businesses including Scott Gilmour Optometrists, Jack Tierney Gallery, Card & Gift Co, Rowlands Pharmacy and Dental Inspirations have agreed to take part in the egg-stra special Easter event.
