The UK’s most upmarket major home builder CALA Homes, which has developments across Aberdeen, has been named Large Housebuilder of the Year at the Scottish Home Awards for the second consecutive year.

It was a double celebration for CALA Homes which was also recognised for its outstanding customer service with the Customer Service Excellence award. This follows CALA Homes receiving the maximum five-star rating in an independent customer satisfaction survey from the Home Builders Federation for a record seventh year.

Kevin Whitaker, regional chairman, CALA Homes, said: “We are thrilled to have had a double success at the Scottish Home Awards this year, and are especially pleased to have retained the prestigious House Builder of the Year title for a second year running.

"At CALA, providing our five star customer service is at the heart of everything we do to ensure that we not only meet, but exceed customer expectations. Winning the Customer Service Excellence award is testament to the continual hard work and commitment of all our employees.

"I am immensely proud of the whole CALA team; while growing the business we continue to deliver exceptionally high quality homes, excellent customer service and provide sustainable developments in which we and the communities in which we build can both be proud.

"To have all our efforts recognised with this double award win is a real honour."

The Scottish Home Awards is an independent awards programme which was established in 2007 to recognise excellence in the Scottish housebuilding industry.

CALA Homes has developments across the North including Rosefield Gardens in Cults, Parklands at May Baird Avenue in Aberdeen city centre, Milltimber Grange at Oldfold Village and The Links at Dubford in Bridge of Don. In the past twelve months, the luxury housebuilder has also sold out at Hilton Avenue in Aberdeen and Balgownie Gate in Bridge of Don.
