Cadherent Ltd is pleased to announce its strategic acquisition of Touch3D, bringing together two leading companies in the fields of engineering consultancy and architectural visualisation.

This acquisition will further enhance Cadherent’s capabilities, expanding the range of services offered to existing clients and opening up new opportunities in diverse markets.

The acquisition is a natural progression following a successful history of collaboration between the two companies. With Cadherent’s extensive expertise in engineering design, 3D animation, and 3D Geospatial data capture and Touch3D’s strengths in architectural CGI and visualisation, the combined team is poised to deliver even greater value and innovative solutions to their clients.

David Thomson, managing director of Cadherent, expressed his enthusiasm for the new venture.

He said: "The acquisition of Touch3D is an exciting prospect for us. While we have collaborated in the past assisting each other during challenging and busy times, this is cementing the deal to build upon the synergies that we already knew existed in our shared vision of workflow and quality.

"This opens opportunities for both teams in new and exciting sectors where we can strengthen and improve on our existing expertise and experiences."

The acquisition will see both companies unite their resources and expertise to create a comprehensive service offering, allowing clients to benefit from an expanded suite of capabilities. Cadherent and Touch3D’s combined strengths will enable them to serve a wider range of industries, from engineering and industrial design to architectural and marketing sectors.

Grant Watson, head of Touch3D, also shared his thoughts on the acquisition.

He said: "Now being part of the Cadherent Group not only enhances our service offerings but also aligns with our long-term vision of growth and innovation. Together, we can achieve even higher standards of excellence and provide our clients with truly exceptional results."

What This Means for Clients

For Cadherent’s existing clients, this acquisition means enhanced project capabilities and resources, streamlined workflows, and access to a broader range of visualisation and design services. The focus will remain on delivering high-quality, tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each client, with the added benefit of new expertise and technologies brought by Touch3D.

Touch3D will operate from the Cadherent office at ‘Riverside’, North Esplanade West with seamless integration to ensure uninterrupted service to all clients.
