A NEW business providing C-me colour profiling services to support companies in the recruitment and development of staff has launched in the North-east.
Cognition Coaching is the latest venture from HR professional Nicky Carnie.
C-me is an affordable colour profiling tool which accurately identifies an employees' natural persona and the adapted persona they use in a work environment. Combined with team building and one-to-one coaching, it can help people understand how to ensure that when they are operating in a role and are required to act in a certain way, that this can affect different aspects of their behaviour.
Cognition Coaching supports SMEs to develop greater resilience within their employees in order to improve cohesion, smart working and a more profitable business outcome. This in turn empowers staff to take responsibility of their own development and use the tools they need to move forward, both personally and professionally.
Nicky is a fully qualified HR professional with an MSc in HR Management and a Chartered MCIPD and is an Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) qualified coach, with experience in the oil and gas and third sectors.
The only independent C-Me accredited practitioner in the region, she knows the importance of businesses recruiting the right people in the right roles and ensuring employees are given opportunities to add value to the business through playing to their strengths: “Companies can be missing a trick by not exploring their employees’ strengths, development areas and preferred ways of working and communicating,” she said.
“Being based locally in Aberdeen enables me to offer a cost-effective package to businesses to invest in their people and unlock their potential. My approach is pragmatic and flexible, supportive and above all effective. I am passionate about developing people and have a proven track record of achieving outcome-based results with both individuals and teams.”
