The latest operators of Resident X have lifted the lid on why the hospitality venue has been forced to close its doors.
In an exclusive interview with the Press & Journal, Ryan Clark, who operated the business alongside Andy Eager, said: "The main issue was with footfall, and we all know why that is.
"It’s because of the bus gates and the LEZ down there, and it wasn’t just us that was suffering."
Mr Clark remains unconvinced that Resident X can be a success, though said he didn't think the venue was "doomed".
