Broomhill Primary score a goal with its new local sponsors

Aberdeen based heating and air conditioning company Aircon Scotland Limited have been named as the new sponsor of the Broomhill Primary 3 football team.

The City Centre based team is registered to play in the AFC Community Trust 4 x 4 weekly festivals at Aberdeen Sports Village.

Head Coach Kevin Rinchey comments, “It’s fantastic that Aircon Scotland have chosen to support the team through sponsoring their kit.

As the coach of the youngsters, I see the enjoyment every week they get as from taking part, as well as seeing them development their skills, team work and fitness. Without sponsors such as Aircon Scotland this opportunity for pupils would be greatly missed.”

In addition to sponsoring the kits, Aircon Scotland directors Ian Nicol and Stuart Flint also give back to the community by working closely with Tullos Training and The Prince’s Trust “Get into Oil and Gas” programme. Ian and the team regularly provide 2 week apprenticeships to people completing the training programme.

Since the company began in 2014 Ian and the team have welcomed 6 apprentices, 4 of which directly from the “Get into” programme. Ian Nicol comments, “It’s important that we invest into the future of Aberdeen today. Whether it’s through supporting our local school teams, allowing skill development and dedication at an early age, or by providing apprenticeships to young people looking to develop a trade.”

Aircon Scotland provide mechanical services to businesses in Aberdeen City and shire. Providing heating, plumbing, air-conditioning and ventilation Aircon are able to provide a full maintenance package to customers.
