brightsolid, the cloud hosting and datacentre service provider, is delighted to announce that senior systems engineer, Craig Dalrymple, has been named as a Veeam Vanguard, in the company’s inaugural programme for Veeam experts.
Only 31 individuals from around the world were selected to take part in the programme, and Dalrymple is the only Scottish member. The accolade will allow brightsolid to further cement its position as the leading Scottish datacentre and cloud provider, after being accepted as the only Scottish partner on the Microsoft Cloud OS Network earlier this year.
This brand new initiative aims to bring together top-tier global influencers, and will encourage contributions from the select group of IT professionals and the communities they work within. The inaugural Vanguards list is made up of a hand-selected group of people from varying backgrounds, but who Veeam felt best embrace the brand. Dalrymple’s active engagement with both Veeam and non-Veeam users on social media and forums, as well as his frequent blogging about his use of Veeam products, made him an ideal candidate for the programme.
“It is such an incredible honour to be included in this small, prestigious group of people. The fact that there are only three Vanguards in the UK, and I’m the sole Scot, makes it all the more exciting,” said Dalrymple. “I’m looking forward to seeing how the programme develops and what I can bring to brightsolid customers as a result of the nomination.”
As a Vanguard, Dalrymple will be able to test and develop new and exclusive features relating to the Veeam product portfolio and will have the opportunity to influence future products. This will allow brightsolid to remain at the forefront of new Veeam features and releases, sharing these benefits with its customers.
